Late show for Olunga as Girona bounce back to winning ways

12 Dec, 07:42

Michael Olunga was a late substitute in Girona FC crucial 1-0 victory away to Espanyol on Monday 11 December in RCDE stadium.

Spanish David Timor's strike at the stroke of the halt of time proved enough to separate the two teams and moving the visitors back into the league top ten.

First win in a month

The win, Girona's first in recent four league games, came at a crucial time as they look to head back to Montilivi to face 16th placed,  Getafe.

The former Gor Mahia striker is still looking to cement his place at the team.
