Onyango returns as Mamelodi Sundowns start 2017-18 league campaign

Mamelodi Sundowns fans have received a potentially encouraging news after the club first choice keeper, Dennis Onyango, was passed fit ahead of the season opener on Saturday.

Onyango suffered an injury but the medical team has announced that the burly keeper has recuperated and ready for action. 

Supersport United host the Brazillians at the Lucas Masterpieces Moripe Stadium in a Premier Soccer League derby.

The team has also confirmed that Black Stars keeper Razak Brimah has received his International transfer certificate (ITC).

- The Mamelodi Sundowns technical team have reported a clean bill of health ahead of the most exciting derby in the Absa Premiership. Dennis Onyango has fully recovered, while Razak Brimah received his ITC Papers from the Spanish FA, Sundowns reported.

Brazilian defender, Ricardo Nascimento, is the only player sidelined for the encounter.
