Reports: Yassar Mugerwa dumps St. George for Ethiopian cup winners

Uganda Cranes midfielder, Yassar Mugerwa has switched clubs in Ethiopia ahead of the new season.

Mugerwa joined St. Georges FC in September last year after being axed from Premier Soccer League giants Orlando Pirates.

The 23 -year old has moved to Ethiopian cup winners Welayta Dicha F.C.

- He (Mugerwa) has moved to Welayta (Dicha F.C). One of the issues at hand was playtime and then of course the fee. Though i can't disclose the details, a trusted source told us from Ethiopia.

Yassar refuted the claims and said that his agent is in talks with several clubs and still evaluating possible options before a final decision.

He has previously played for Uganda Revenue Authority in the Uganda Premier League.
