Immediate past coach of the Super Eagles coach Sunday Oliseh has thrown his weight behind the proposed move by Emmanuel Emenike to Greek club Olympiakos.

Emenike is finalizing a move to the Greek champions from his Turkish club Fenerbahce, and is expected to be unveiled by the club. After his medical, Emenike will be completing his 2 Million Euros (about N900m) Olympiakos move this week.

Oliseh, while speaking with Greek publication SDNA.gr, expressed confidence that Emenike will re-launch his career with the move to Olympiakos

-I believe he can hit it big again at Olympiakos, Oliseh said.

-He’s an aggressive striker who finishes well and on a good day, he alone can change a game for his team because he has a winning mentality.

-He can play alone on top of the attack, has good speed, can hold up play for his teammates to join him upfront and also create space for them.

Emenike is seen as the best option for the Olympiakos after Diumerci Mbokani failed medicals last week.
