Emenike finalizing move to Olympiakos

Nigerian striker Emmanuel Emenike is finalizing a move to Greek champions Olympiakos from his Turkish club Fenerbahce, and is expected to be unveiled by the club.

After his medical, Emenike will be completing his 2 Million Euros (about N900m) Olympiakos move this week.

The Nigerian is seen as the best option for the Olympiakos after Diumerci Mbokani failed medicals last week.

Emenike endured a torrid time at Fenerbahce under coach Dirk Advocaat last season as he was largely confined to the bench by the Dutchman.

The former Super Eagles striker scored eight goals in 27 matches in all competitions.

He joined the Turkish club in 2013 and during his time at Fenerbahce, he went on loan twice, to Al Ain (2015-2016) and West Ham United (2016).
