Pyagbara strikes late to earn three points for Akwa United

Akwa United beat Wikki Tourist 2-0 in a rescheduled Nigeria Professional Football League game, thanks to a late strike from Christian Pyagbara.

The former Sharks striker scored in two minutes of added time to seal victory.

Akwa United had taken the lead in the 25th minute when Musa Newman scored from close range to take a 1-0 result into half time.

The latest victory now earns Akwa United 39 points from 24 games.
