New Premier League sides woo Chelsea star

Recently Promoted English sides Newcastle United FC and Brighton FC are locked in a battle for Chelsea forward Tammy Abraham.

The 19-year-old quickly emerged as a top prospect after finding a killer form on joining Brighton from the Blues in August 2016, where he has since scored 23 goals in 41 appearances in the second-tier Sky Bet Championship.

A return to Antonio Conte’s side is highly unlikely as the Godfather cannot guarantee consistent playing time for the Englishman, being that the Premier League champions already boasts of a youthful but experienced squad, which the tactician constantly fields.

Toons boss Rafael Benitez is set to offer the youngster a £25,000-a-week contract to bolster his squad on the offensive end in readiness for a return to the top-tier competition, though sources claim that Brighton have arranged a final meeting with the prodigy to persuade him to stay.
