Play-time for Timbe as Lierse downs Zulte-Waregem

Kenyan International Ayub Timbe clocked 90 minutes as his side Lierse rallied from a goal down to beat 9-man Zulte Waregem 3-1 in a Belgian top tier match played on Saturday 4 October.

Zulte-Waregem had taken an 11th minute lead through Idrissa Sylla before Alhassane Keita equalized for the hosts in the 33rd minute. 

Down to nine men

In the 77th minute, Eric Benoit Matoukou put the hosts ahead after he was sent through by Zizo. A minute later, Charni Ekangemene was sent off for a second bookable offence. 

Bryan Vebroom was then shown a straight red card in the 83rd minute to see Zulte reduced to nine men. A penalty was awarded to Lierse and Zizo made no mistake from the spot.

Position

Timbe was substituted in the 91st minute. The win saw Lierse leap frog Zulte to the 15th position with 9 points.
