Hazard penalty sinks Ayub Timbe’s Genk

Thorgan Hazard did what his brother Eden Hazard at Chelsea does best scoring from the spot as Zulte-Waregem thumped KRC Genk 3-0 in the Belgium Premier League Playoffs Championships  match played on Saturday 29 March 2014 at the Cristal Arena.

Idrissa Sylla opened the score lines in the 21st minute before Ibrahima Sory doubled the lead in the 61st minute of the second half.

The 21 year old Belgian then converted from 12 yards in the four minutes of added time to ensure they kick off their playoffs with three crucial points.

Genk is home to Kenyan international Ayub Masika Timbe who was benched throughout the match.

Genk head into the next match against Lokeren set for Saturday 5 March 2014 with 23 points.
