Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich are interested in the services of Barcelona FC defender Nélson Semedo.
According to Spanish portal Mundo Deportivo, Semedo is one of the Bavarian giants’ top targets for the summer window this after reports claimed that both Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur were interested in the player.
Barça is said to be unwilling to let the 26-year-old leave in January but will consider a summer sale for the right offer.
The rumours surface at a time where Bayern manager Hansi Flick made it clear to the club’s board that he would like January reinforcements following the uncertainty surrounding the future of defender Jerome Boateng.
The club too has been shaken by the comments of David Alaba who despite insisting that he wasn't leaving Bayern in January refused to rule out a move in the near future with English Premier League side Chelsea said to have enquired about the player.
Semedo, who has a contract with Barca until 2022 with a release clause of €100 million but is no longer considered a serious cog to the team after losing his place to Sergio Roberto.
