Barcelona will take on Atletico Madrid in the second semifinal of the Spanish Super Cup competition in Saudi Arabia on Thursday night. 

The two will battle it for a place in the finals in the newly revamped competition, which initially was a one-off match that acted as the curtain-raiser before a new La Liga season. 

The winner will face Real Madrid, who qualified on Wednesday night after thrashing Valencia 3-1.
