Barcelona will start the defense of their Spanish Super Cup on Thursday night when they face Atletico Madrid in the second semifinal.
Initially, two teams contested the title which served as a curtain-raiser for the Spanish La Liga, but that changed last year when it was adjusted to accommodate two more teams.
The team's preparations for the tie against Diego Simeone's men was interrupted on Wednesday as they arrived late for their training after the bus they were in headed in the wrong direction.
Barcelona coach Ernesto Valverde and Sergio Busquets were scheduled to attend a press conference before the training session but were overly late and forced to address the journalists after the session.
"We certainly know the city a bit better now," Valverde said after the conference.
"There was a little mistake. We went to the stadium where Real Madrid and Valencia play tonight. He realized before we arrived but then there was some traffic, so we were late," he explained as quoted by Goal.
