Rwanda Premier League club Kiyovu Sports Club have reportedly blocked Ugandan born striker Benson Rahim Ociti from completing his move to Canada, Kawowo Sports revealed.
The report comes come FC Edmonton, a professional football club in Canada had inquired about Ociti's services and were very much keen to bring him to the club.
“My employment contract is clear and reads in bold that it was two years from 2017 to 2019. I have a copy, my agents have a copy and the club has a copy too” Ociti revealed.
Ociti was invited on trials by Egypt second division side Ceramica Cleopatra FC early in 2019 but he never made the trip due to restrictions in his contract.
He has previously played for URA, Police and Tooro United before he made his way out of the Uganda Premier League.
Ociti has also plied his trade for Kenyan Premier League outfit Chemelil Sugar Football Club.
The Ugandan striker has been Kiyovu Sports club since 2017 and his current contract at the club expired on December 31, 2019.
