Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich have confirmed that Hansi Flick will remain in charge of the club till the end of the season.
Flick has overseen a brief upturn in fortunes for Bayern as an interim manager with the club still looking for a permanent replacement of Niko Kovac who was shown the door in November.
In his tenure, Flick has seen his side winning eight out of their ten games in all competitions with the club announcing on Sunday on their social media handles that he will be in charge until the season ends.
Its not clear whether he will be handed the club on a permanent basis after making a huge case for himself with a series of top coaches still being linked with a move to Bayern.
Reports indicate that Flick will be evaluated at the end of the season with his progress in the UEFA Champions League where they will be up against Chelsea being a key component.
The seat has attracted names such as Massimiliano Allegri, Mauricio Pochettino and Unai Emery who are all out of work.
