Pep Guardiola claims Manchester City played better against Manchester United than Arsenal

Despite losing the Manchester Derby, Pep Guardiola claims that Manchester City played well against Manchester United than Arsenal.

City dominated against Arsenal, opening the scoring in the first minute through Kevin De Bruyne who bagged a brace while Raheem Sterling also got his name on the scoresheet in the convincing 3-0 win.

Pep Guardiola's men also cut the gap between them and second-placed Leicester City to four points but still remain 14 points off Liverpool.

Speaking in a press conference after the win over Arsenal, Guardiola claimed City played better against United than Arsenal, "We won the game. Kevin made two incredible goals and one assist.

"We're happy for the three points. We played much better against United and we had more chances."

Guardiola has been known to be a manager who focuses more on performances rather than results that his team registers.
