๐Ÿ˜ฑ Craig Dawson admits to finding the Premier League difficult to play in

Watford defender Craig Dawson has exclaimed that he has found it difficult playing in the Premier League upon his move to the club according to Watford Observer.

Dawson who previously played for West Bromwich Albion reportedly put on one of his best performances when Watford played against Tottenham Hotspur at the weekend after struggling to find his rhythm at the start of the season.

The 29-year-old further admitted that he believes moving to The Hornets has been a "step-up" in terms of quality and style of play as opposed to the English Championship.

"I have played in the Premier League before, so I know all about it," said Dawson.

"But obviously coming to Watford, it's a great squad, we've got very talented players so you can see the step up straight away.

"Obviously the start of the season hasn't gone to plan, but we're working very hard during the week as a team, as management and staff as well to put things right and that's what we're going to do," he said.

"I think you could see that today. The performance was there, just, unfortunately, we didn't get the result we needed."

According to Watford Observer, manager Quique Sanchez Flores reportedly told the media that he always wanted to work with Dawson in order to help him improve his game as well as his confidence because it had hit a severe knock.

Dawson further added that the new manager has been a breath of fresh air and his positivity has made a massive difference in the squad.

"The manager is a very positive character and he's great for the lads," he said.

"We've had a good week's training and worked very hard and today we can't be down about the result - the performance was good and there are lots of positives to take so we'll get back on the training ground working hard.

"As a team, I think the confidence has grown today and hopefully we can take that into the next game."
