The international break is finally over and that means that club football makes a welcome return to our screens.
Here are ten key games from across Europe's top leagues that we're looking forward to this weekend.
🇫🇷 Nice vs PSG
Ligue 1 leaders PSG should extend their lead at the top of the table against big-spending Nice, and Kylian Mbappe should get some minutes after returning from a minor knock.
🇪🇸 Eibar vs Barcelona
Spanish giants Barcelona have returned to form but they'll need to be at their best to beat Eibar, they've already slipped up against Granada this season and will want to be careful of another potential banana skin this weekend.
🇮🇹 Lazio vs Atalanta
Each of these teams’ last three competitive games produced over 2.5 goals, and we expect more goals to flow here as the impressive Atalanta side look to continue improving and solidifying their new position among the Italian elite.
🇪🇸 Atlético Madrid vs Valencia
Diego Simeone's Atléti side has returned to their old ways, keeping clean sheets in each of their last five matches across all competitions. Their rugged approach to defensive football is a thing of beauty, but look out for João Félix, their new star man who's set to explode in LaLiga. Ghanaian midfield man Thomas Partey, coveted by so many clubs around Europe, provides the balance as Atlético's pivot.
🏴 Chelsea vs Newcastle
Something has to give here with Chelsea scoring 15 goals in their last four matches across all competitions, and Newcastle having claimed precious 1-0 wins against Tottenham and Man United so far this season. It should be an intriguing battle between two sides with completely different styles and approaches.
🏴 Spurs vs Watford
Two demoralizing defeats on the bounce have placed immense pressure on Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino. Watford, yet to win a match all season in the Premier League, might feel that they have nothing to lose in London this weekend and might go all out for a win. This should make for rich entertainment.
🏴 Crystal Palace vs Man City
This almost looks like a must-win for Pep Guardiola's men, with eight points separating them and Liverpool in top spot, after a surprise home defeat to Wolves. Jordan Ayew's three Premier League goals this season have been worth six points to Crystal Palace - only Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's goals have been more valuable to a side (9). He's a man in form.
🇮🇹 Juventus vs Bologna
The Old Lady of Turin will be buoyed by their 2-1 win over Inter Milan before the international break, a three-point grab that helped them leapfrog Inter to the top of the Serie A standings. They're still settling into the season but should be too strong for mid-table Bologna. Cristiano Ronaldo, scorer of his 700th career goal during the international break, is the man to watch as always.
🏴 Man United vs Liverpool
The two most successful sides in English football history clash here and the respective form of the teams couldn't be more different. United has won only two matches this season in the Premier League, while Liverpool has won 17 consecutive matches in the competition. Liverpool, however, hasn't won a Premier League match at Old Trafford since 2014. Will this be their day?
🏴 Sheffield United vs Arsenal
Arsenal has kept four clean sheets in their last six matches across all competitions. None of Sheffield United’s last five matches has featured goals by both sides and none of them has featured over 2.5 goals. In fact, three matches in that sequence featured exactly one goal, and the 0-0 draw last time out again highlighted The Blades’ issues in front of goal. Arsenal can sneak a low-scoring and important win here in their quest to make the top four.
