Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea limped off Spain's 1-1 draw against Sweden in the UEFA European Championship qualifiers with a suspected groin injury.
The injury comes days ahead of United's crunch time clash against Liverpool on Sunday 20th October. De Gea returned to the starting XI in place of Chelsea shot-stopper Kepa Arrizabalaga and made a fantastic save to deny Robin Quaison but picked up a problem after the interval.
The extent of his injury is yet to be confirmed but should he not be able to feature against Liverpool, Sergio Romero will step in for the Spaniard.
De Gea's problem adds to the mounting list of injury worries that United must deal with as Paul Pogba, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Anthony Martial and Luke Shaw are all set to be assessed ahead of Sunday's fixture.
