According to reports, Manchester United have reached a 'verbal agreement' to sign wantaway Juventus forward Mario Mandzukic in the January transfer window to sort out their blunt attack.
Mandzukic has not featured for the Italian champions this season and was omitted from their 25-man Champions League squad.
Romelu Lukaku left the club to join Inter Milan on transfer deadline day with United being linked to Mandzukic but the deal failed to materialize as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer failed to get the Belgian's replacement.
The 33-year-old Croatia international is said to have turned down a £7million-a-year deal with Qatari side Al-Rayyan in order to stay in Europe.
Tuttosport claim that Mandzukic's camp have an agreement in place with United, who he will join on January 1. Mandukic has scored 44 goals in 162 games for Juventus since joining the club from Atletico Madrid in 2015.
