Frenchman Arsene Wenger is among the coaches being lined up to take over at Italian giants’ AC Milan according to a report from Gazzetta dello Sport.
Milan has had a terrible start to the season with current boss Marco Giampaolo-who only took over at the San Siro this summer, signing a three-year contract-already being under pressure to deliver for the side.
Dello Sport reports that former Arsenal manager Wenger is one of a few options on the table for Milan, who have chopped and changed in the dugout on a number of occasions in recent years.
There’s no doubt the Rossoneri are something of a fallen giant and look in need of some stability more than anything, though the option to bring in a top-class, an experienced coach like Wenger would no doubt be tempting.
The Frenchman had a difficult end to his time at Arsenal, but remains a club legend at the Emirates Stadium and said this week that he was tempted to venture into management soon.
Reports had linked him with a move to Manchester United though he should fancy a move to Italy as he seeks to stabilize Milan.
