Following their second-half capitulation at the hands of Watford, Ainsley Maitland-Niles has questioned Unai Emery's tactic of playing out from the back.
Second-half goals from Tom Cleverly and Roberto Pereyra canceled out Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang's first-half brace as Arsenal settled for a point. The first Watford goal came as a result of the Gunners playing out from the back with Sokratis Papastathopoulos' pass being intercepted by Will Hughes as Cleverly tapped the ball home.
Speaking ahead of their Europa League clash against Eintracht Frankfurt, Maitland-Niles questioned Emery's tactics, "Words can't describe how I feel about it. I think we tried to play the way we played, we should have changed it instead of being so persistent and trying to play out from the back."
Arsenal face Frankfurt on Thursday 19th September in the Europa League with the clash slated for a 7:55 PM (EAT) kick-off.
