AFC Leopards has released the total amount collected in their week two Kenyan Premier League clash against Kariobangi Sharks on Sunday 15 September.
Through their social media handles, Leopards said they collected a total of Ksh 452, 800 from the sale of Matchday tickets.
Of the total amount, Ksh 58, 000 was paid to Sports Kenya as stadium hiring charges and a further Ksh 67, 920 paid to the same body as revenue share from the total gate collections this being the 15% the body charges on the same.
Other payments included Ksh 20, 000 to the police who were contracted to provide security, Ksh 10, 000 for the ambulance, Ksh 5, 000 for the ball boys, and Ksh 27, 169 as the commission to M-Ticket who were in charge of the online ticketing process.
The total deduction saw the club bank partly Ksh 264, 712 with the Leopards thanking their fans for turning up in a clash that saw Sharks hold them to a scoreless draw.
