England national team manager Gareth Southgate is reportedly working hard behind the scenes to beat Nigeria head coach Gernot Rohr for Chelsea's striker Tammy Abraham's services.
The Three Lions manager is said to be feeling uneasy after Abraham announced that he could Nigeria a chance for his international career and reports reveal that he will be keeping a close eye on him when he takes on Valencia in the Uefa Champions League.
The Telegraph reported that Southgate is set to send his assistant Steve Holland to Stamford Bridge stadium to run the rule over the in-form striker with a possibility of recalling him to the England squad.
Further reports also revealed that Holland will also be watching Nigeria-eligible star Fikayo Tomori who scored his first goal for Chelsea at the weekend against Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Tomori has been previously called up for Canada and England youth teams but Rohr is also on the lookout for the youngster who could be Leon Balogun's potential replacement in the Super Eagles' squad.
