Harambee Stars probable line up against Uganda

Harambee Stars probable line up against UgandaKenya’s Harambee Stars will be taking on Uganda Cranes in a friendly clash on Sunday 8 September at the MISC Kasarani from 4 pm EAT.

With a legion of foreign-based players failing to make it to the team, head coach Francis Kimanzi will hope that his local-based players rise up to the occasion against a Uganda side who just as Kenya will be missing some of their big names.

The absence of captain Victor Wanyama sees striker Michael Olunga handed the armband and with Johanna Omollo and Ismael Gonzalez failing to make the team, Kimanzi should be scratching his head on as to who will be screening his back four; Bandari’s Collins Agade being billed to slot in the place.

Between the Sticks

Patrick Matasi should maintain his place between the sticks but another headache for Kimazni should be at the right back where Philemon Otieno and Bernard Ochieng are all out due to injuries.

Harambee Stars XI: Patrick Matasi (GK), Samuel Olwande, Michael Kibwage, Joash Onyango, Eric Ouma, Kenneth Muguna, Collins Agade, Francis Kahata, Ayub Timbe, Eric Johanna, Michael Olunga (Cpt)

Subs From: Farouk Shikhalo (GK), John Oyemba (GK), Nicholas Meja, Johnstone Omurwa, Boniface Muchiri, Duke Abuya, Clifton Miheso, Cliff Nyakeya, Whyvonee Isuza, John Avire
