The South African Football Association (SAFA) have replaced Zambia with Madagascar for this weekend’s international friendly.
Following the Zambian FA’s decision to cancel a friendly against Bafana Bafana based on Xenophobic reports in South Africa, SAFA have moved quickly to secure Madagascar.
SAFA made the announcement via social media this morning and revealed that the match will be played at the Orlando Stadium on Tuesday 10 September in the evening.

The South Africans will be facing a Madagascar side who've freshly came out of the shadows as a footballing nation at AFCON 2019. Known as "Barea", the islanders outdone themselves in Egypt after reaching the last 16 - which included a famous 2-0 win over Nigeria. The side would later fall 3-0 to Tunisia in a last eight clash.
The game will also serve as new Bafana Bafana coach Molefi Ntseki's official debut.
