AFC Leopards beaten by Homeboyz in Bukhungu

AFC Leopards last season woes continued into the new one after hey fell to a solitary goal at the hands of Kakamega Homeboyz in a Kenyan Premier League encounter staged at Bukhungu Stadium on Sunday 1 September.

Leopards who handed debuts to six new signings had hoped for a better tiding against the Nicholas Muyoti charges and looked just fine as the game had no scorer heading into the half time break.

With the match headed for a draw, it was another new signing from the Homeboyz side in Stephen Etyang who gave his team all the needed points; the scorer joined the Kakamega based side form Nzoia Sugar FC earlier last month.

In another match of the day, Zoo Kericho started strongly after they dispatched visiting Chemelil Sugar FC 3-1 at the Kericho Green Stadium.

Zoo goals were scored by Kepha Ondati, Derrick Anami, and Newton Ondari.
