New Spain head coach Roberto Moreno has told David De Gea he will face a fight to remain the country's No.1 between the posts.
Spain have three outstanding goalkeepers in the name of De Gea, Chelsea's Kepa Arrizabalaga and Roma shot-stopper Pau Lopez. The Manchester United keeper had a poor end to last season that saw him surrender the number one jersey to Kepa which was followed up by a poor World Cup campaign.
In an interview with Cadena Ser, Moreno spoke about the goalkeeping situation in his side, "My goalkeepers are De Gea, Kepa and Pau Lopez. I want to get to the Euros (next summer) with three goalkeepers who are ready to compete.
"They are all playing at a high level and there are nuances and differences between them. All three have good footwork. At Barca, we won the treble alternating goalkeepers."
