Harambee Stars midfielder Francis Kahata has sealed his long-awaited move to Tanzania giants Simba SC this as confirmed by Mwanaspoti.
According to the paper, Simba representatives have been in Egypt for the African Cup of Nations for contractual talks with the former Gor Mahia midfielder and all is remaining is an agreement on personal terms.
Mwanaspoti claims that the player will sign a three-year deal which takes effect from July 1 with a Ksh 4M signing on fee and a Ksh 350000 monthly salary awaiting the former Thika United man.
Kahata is currently a free agent after his association with Gor Mahia ended last month; the player having been a subject of a move at the start of the year with Algerian side CS Constantine having expressed their interest in the player.
Apart from Kahata, Simba has already confirmed the acquisition of Brazilian duo of Gerson Fraga Viera and Wilker Henrique da Silva together with Sudan international Shiboub Ali Abdalrahman.
In his four-year stint with Gor Mahia since joining from KF Tirana, Kahata has won three league titles and will join former compatriot Meddie Kagere at the club.
