  • Today's danger men & key talking points💫

PSG's Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting will captain Clarence Seedorf's side as he goes for his toughest assignment yet. The team has one of the most experienced sides, with the emergence of Ajax sensation André Onana giving the team assurance at the back.

The two nations have met just three times before, with their most recent encounter dating back to 2017, when the countries faced each other in the previous edition of the grandest continental tournament. The Cameroonians were trailing at half time, but managed to turn the game around and triumphed after the final whistle. Bissau have never managed to take anything from their meetings with Cameroon and lost all the matches, each with one goal margin. Only the most recent of those featured over 2,5 goals and witnessed goals at both ends.

Ghana vs Benin

  • Today's danger men & key talking points💫

Recently named the captain who will lead the Black Stars to this year’s Africa Cup of Nations, Andre Ayew will have fond memories of returning to Egypt, where he captained the U20 Ghanaian team that eventually lifted the World Cup trophy in 2009.

Benin will be without their captain Stéphane Sessègnon. The midfielder will be serving a suspension after receiving a red card in the team’s final Cup of Nations qualifier against Algeria.

The Black Stars are in town.

Ghana have been criticized for their lack of firepower upfront, having failed to find the back of the net in their two warm-up games.
