Sofapaka FC winger Cliff Kasuti has ditched the 2009 Kenyan Premier League Champions for Bandari FC on a three-year deal according to reports.
Should it happen, Kasuti will be the second signing for Bandari FC this transfer window after the Bernard Mwalala coached side moved swiftly to acquire the services of Danson Chetambe from KPL rivals Zoo Kericho last week.
Bandari is looking to boost their side with proper signing as they gear to represent Kenya in the CAF Confederations Cup and with the hope that they can go a step further in challenging for the league from Gor Mahia.
Kasuti was brought to Sofapaka in November 2018 from Ulinzi Stars by head coach Melis Medo but found games hard to come by when the team was taken over by John Baraza; the former Kenyan international preferring to use John Avire, Piston Mutamba, and Stephen Waruru in the attack.
Having graduated from St. Anthony’s Kitale, Kasuti joined Ulinzi in January 2016 and was part of the KPL AllStars team that played Hull City in the UK in 2017 under coach Stanley Okumbi.
