Meddie Kagere sign new Simba SC deal

Rwandese striker Meddie Kagere has signed a new two-year deal with Tanzania giants Simba SC; the club has confirmed.

Kagere joined Simba in June 2018 as a free agent following the culmination of his contract with Kenyan Premier League giants Gor Mahia; the player signing a two-year deal then.

His deal then was reported to have handed him a Ksh 8M signing fee with a monthly salary of Sh450, 000 per month which was about three times of what he earned at K’Ogalo.


The player has been attracting attention from top African side with Egyptian side Al Ahly and Zamalek SC among teams that have been linked with the striker.

The player has been a major cog in the Simba team as they made it to the quarterfinals of the CAF Champions League last season with the player having returned to the Rwandese national team fold too last year.
