Golden boot winner Musonda says he wouldn't turn down Soweto giants or Sundowns
Black Leopards and Absa Premiership golden boot winner Mwape Musonda would be willing to join the big boys like Kaizer Chiefs, Orlando Pirates or Mamelodi Sundowns.
Facing the media after collecting his top goalscorer trophy, thanks to his 19 goals, Musonda is naturally targeted by the money-powered clubs.
“As a player you want to grow,” he said.
“I don’t think anyone can turn down an offer like that. But then it’s not up to me, someone has to make the call because you can’t take yourself there and ask if you can play for them.
“If they call you have to pick up the phone and hear what they are saying, I won’t say no.”
Should a move to Gauteng materialise, it won’t be a brand new experience for the 28-year-old. The former Golden Arrows man has also previously worn the famous black & white jersey of Orlando Pirates.
