Watford boss Javi Gracia believes Saturday's 6-0 thrashing at the hands of Manchester City in the FA Cup final could prove to be a learning experience for his side in the future.
The Hornets, who were playing in their first FA Cup final in 35 years, were totally dominated by Pep Guardiola's men at the Etihad as they completed a historic domestic treble.
"We did really well in the first part," Gracia told Sky Sports. "We played against them twice [this season] and in both games we have competed well. It was really tough but we tried.
"It was a good experience and I know in this moment it is hard for us to look at the future. But we are not satisfied with the defeat and it will be good for us in the future."
Watford finished 14th in the just concluded Premier League season.
