Marcus Rashford is a major injury doubt for England’s opening Euro 2020 qualifier match against the Czech Republic on Friday night.
According to The Mirror, Rashford has been playing through the pain barrier with an ankle injury sustained in the scoreless draw with Liverpool on February 24.
The 21-year-old sat out the Three Lion’s Tuesday training session at St George’s Park and he’s struggling to twist and turn.
This means Borussia Dortmund youngster Jadon Sancho could make his first competitive start for England after impressing in training.
Rashford’s injury also explains Callum Hudson-Odoi’s surprise inclusion in the Three Lions squad despite not having made a single start in the Premier League.
