Tusker FC will lose the services of Marlon Tangauzi and Sydney Ochieng after the duo failed to renew their deals with the club.
Ochieng and Tangauzi joined Tusker in January 2017 from now-defunct Palos FC and Uganda’s Saints FC but they have refused to ink new deals with the club said to have prepared for their departures after officially roping in three players this month
Ochieng is already in Kisumu to seal a deal with Western Stima with Tangauzi said to be keeping fit with National Super League Nairobi Stima.
Tusker who is currently leading the Kenyan Premier League has already secured the services of Brian Marita from AFC Leopards, Chris Ochieng from Mathare United and Crispinus Onyango from KCB FC.
The team is expected to rope in a few more players before the window closes as they seek to replicate the 2016 performance that saw them win a domestic double.
The Robert Matano coached side are well aware too that Gor Mahia who are placed third on the log have played two fewer games and will be clinging on the hope that they don’t pick the points to leapfrog them in the standings.
After the weekend rest, Tusker will be up against Ulinzi Stars in their next league tie.
