Kenya international Eric Johanna has joined Swedish side Jonkoping Sodra on a two-year deal.
The midfielder, who is in his fourth season in the league, represented IF Bromma boys, another Swedish side, in 2019.
He was officially presented on Friday, with the club officials expressing their delight in winning the race for his signature.
“We are pleased that Eric chooses J-Södra, as we know that he is a sought-after player that several other clubs have moved on. Eric is a leading player, who is incredibly fast and dangerous. I believe and hope that our audience will enjoy seeing him at Stadsparksvallen," said the club's sports director Kujtim Bala.
Johanna was equally happy to join Jonkoping, saying he saw it as an opportunity to grow and develop as a player.
“It feels fantastic! I've been waiting for this moment. It feels good to move to a new city and a new club," he said.
“I want the best coach, to be able to develop as much as possible as a player. That is the main reason. This is also a club with a lot of history and that should be in Allsvenskan," he added.
Eric is making his fourth season in Sweden in 2020. Prior to the 2017 season, he joined Vasalund in Division 1, before playing the following two seasons in Allsvenskan and Superettan for the Brommapojkarna.
