Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Nuno Espirito Santo has insisted that it would be disrespectful of him to speak about his link to the Arsenal managerial job.
Santo is on his third season in charge of Wolves after guiding them back to the Premier League and delivering UEFA Europa League football on his second season.
Arsenal are in a torrid run of form that has seen them win just one of their last eight matches in all competitions and sit eight points behind the top four.
Speaking in a press conference ahead of the Braga clash, Santo was asked about speculation linking him to the Arsenal job, "I think you know me well enough and you know that I’m not going to answer about that.
"I will never mention an issue that’s not a reality. Mainly because the job has a manager in it. It would be disrespectful."
Defeat against Eintracht Frankfurt on Thursday could spell the end for Emery, with the BBC confirming Nuno is a leading candidate to replace him.
