Kylian Mbappe wants to join Laliga giants Real Madrid according to Monaco president Vadim Vasilyev.
Vasilyev claimed in an interview with French outlet Telefoot that, the 20-year old forward had spoken with him about the same this coming after he was heavily linked with a move to Spain in the summer.
“Mbappe has told me of his desire to go to Real Madrid. He said but at the moment it is too soon. He had only played a season of senior football then, and he wanted to go back to his home in Paris. Real Madrid can wait, he said,” Vasilyev said.
Mbappé came through the ranks at Monaco before leaving to join Paris Saint-Germain in the summer of 2017 in a deal worth €170m.
The World Cup winner has been one consistent figure in world football for the past year and one dependable player for both club and country.
In his stint with PSG, Mbappe has scored 69 goals in 97 appearances and luring him out of the French capital is expected to attract a huge fee as he is still contracted with the club until 2022.
