Thuso Phala opens up on making amends with former club SuperSport United

Black Leopards winger Thuso Phala has opened up about his regrets during his time with SuperSport United and revealed that he has made amends with his former employers, according to Sport24.

Phala departed from SuperSport in the 2018/19 season after he reportedly had a quarrel with the club's hierarchy which led his suspension before he was officially shown the door.

"I went back to the chairperson [Khulu Sibiya] to humbly apologise for the way I handled myself. I was emotional," Phala told Daily Sun.

"I went to the chairperson to apologise. I support this club; I have friends here and respect the fans. It was never my intention to hurt the club.

"They changed my life and I still watch their matches and celebrate when they win and score goals," the former Mamelodi Sundowns player added.

"To those, I've hurt, please accept my heartfelt apology. I regret my actions."
