Mulambia's lone goal earns Power dynamos first win under Mutobo

Midfielder Fred Mulambia headed home a Luke Chamanga corner to lead Power dynamos to a 1-0 win over 10-man Forest Rangers.

Power dynamos came into the match having suffered three defeats in their last four games and were desperate for a win. Larry Bwalya again started the match from the bench, Guston Mutobo preferring to start with youngster Fred Mulambia.

The first 45 minutes did not produce a lot of chances as both teams were poor in the final third. Ghanian striker Zikiru Adams came close but his effort went agonizingly wide and nil-nil the first half-finished.

Forest Rangers were reduced to ten men three minutes into the second half after Cedric Djeugoue was shown a straight Red card following a clumsy challenge on Lameck Kafwaya near the box. Power dynamos took the lead shortly after through Fred Mulambia who headed home a Luka Chamanga well-curved corner kick.

Forest Rangers have now lost three games in a row, Before this defeat, Fole Malembe suffered back to back defeats at the hands of Zanaco and Lumwana Radiants.
