COSAFA Men's U-17: Zambia off to a flying start

The Zambia U-17 national team kicked off their 2019 COSAFA Championship campaign with a bang as they thrashed Eswatini 6-0 in their opening match played at Mpira Stadium this morning.

The young Copper Bullets were the dominant side from the word go and were 4-0 up by halftime thanks to goals from Moses Mulenga, Dickson N'gambi, Miguel Chaiwa, and Chikyopa Songa.

The Osward Mutapa tutored side continued from where they left off in the second stanza. Julius Kumwenda and Charles Mumba scored a goal each to complete an emphatic 6-0 win.

The win takes Zambia to three points and top of group A with the hosts Malawi in second place following their 3-0 win over South Africa.
