Nigerian striker Peter Olayinka is delighted with his club Slavia Prague as they beat Sparta Prague 3-0 in Sunday’s biggest derby in Czech.
The victory means Slavia Prague maintain top spot on 26 points, and create a huge 12-point gap between them and the hosts, who are now stuck in mid-table on 14 points.
Olayinka's goal was counted as an own-goal, but the 23-year-old provided the assist for the third goal.
“It was a great performance. Winning the derby means a lot, though it was painful to see my goal counted as an own goal. But I’m happy with the assist I gave for the third goal,” he told Sports Extra in a telephone chat.
Olayinka has made 11 appearances in all competitions this season, scoring three goals and two assists in the process.
