Man City get £151m TV boost as second-highest earner behind Liverpool

Manchester City is the second highest earner in Europe last season.

Man City made £151m TV revenue to sit second behing European champions Liverpool with only £1m difference.

Liverpool won the UEFA Champions League, while Man City won the English Premier League trophy.

They were the only clubs in Europe to break the £150m, with the rest of the top-six finishes above the £140m mark.

Barcelona scooped themselves £130m, Bayern £87.6m and Juventus, despite having the pulling power of Cristiano Ronaldo, pocketed themselves just £76.5m.

If ranked from the Big 5 leagues by revenue from their TV deals, the Premier League contributes 18 of the top 20 clubs with the only interlopers being Barcelona (7th place) and Real Madrid (10th).

Liverpool top the chart as the highest earner in Europe with £152m.
