Kenyan Premier League giants Gor Mahia have rolled out e-Ticketing for their home games ahead of the 2019/20 season.
According to information on the club’s website, they have partnered with technology company Infinity Tickets (Africa Data Technologies Limited) to introduce e-ticketing ahead of the first home match of 2018/2019 season next weekend.
The development that was muted by club chairman Mr Ambrose Rachier late last season is aimed at weeding out sale of fake tickets. The system is also in line with the club’s policy of implementing hassle-free access to Gor Mahia’s match day tickets.
Speaking on the new development, Club treasurer Sally Bollo said: “After successful research and testing of the e-ticket system, am happy to announce that we are good and ready to go. The e-ticket is a brilliant way for us to consolidate our revenue as a club by ensuring transparent, fast and easy ways for our supporters to get their tickets from wherever they are across the country.”
To purchase our ticket, fans are expected to visit the club website ticketing menu or https://gormahiafc.co.ke/e-ticketing.
You then register as a normal user, provide the required details including Mpesa phone number that you will use to buy a ticket. Choose the ticket level to buy whether regular, VIP or VVIP.
Click on the ticket of choice and you will get a pop up on your phone to enter Mpesa PIN. The payment goes to Africa Data Technologies Limited who manage the ticketing system.
Your ticket will be sent to the email you provide during registration. Print the ticket and present to the gate for validation before entry.
