Jesse Were led six man contingent arrive to complete Zesco United squad for Mamba clash

Zesco United foreign contingent of six players who did not travel with the team to South Africa led by Zesco United All-time top goalscorer Jesse Jackson Were have Joined the rest of the squad in South Africa.

Were, David Owino, DR Congo defender Marcel Kalonda, Uganda striker Umaru Kasumba, Nigerian midfielder Quadri Kola and Burundi goalkeeper Dieudonne Ntibahezwa did not travel with the team as they did not have Eswatini visas.

"All the six players from Zesco united football club who were left out of the traveling contingent due to visa hitches have finally joined the rest of the squad in South Africa en route to Manzini eSwatini. The six players arrived in South Africa to join the rest of the team on Thursday evening at 18:00hrs.

The player are the Kenyan duo of striker Jesse Were and David Owino, DR Congo defender Marcel Kalonda, Uganda striker Umaru Kasumba, Nigerian midfielder Quadri Kola and Burundi goalkeeper Dieudonne Ntibahezwa." Zesco United posted on their official Facebook page.
