CONFIRMED: Carl Jenkinson leaves Arsenal for Nottingham Forest

Arsenal have confirmed that defender Carl Jenkinson will leave the club, and join Championship side Nottingham Forest on a permanent deal.

The 27-year-old defender began his career with Charlton Athletic before joining the Gunners in June 2011, where he made a total of 70 appearances, scoring one goal, against Norwich City.

He initially spent the 2014/15 and 2015/16 seasons on loan at West Ham United, followed by a loan spell at Championship club Birmingham City during the 2017/18 season.

Jenkinson becomes the second defender to leave the club in the current window, following Laurent Koscielny departure on Tuesday to join French side, Bordeaux.
