Zlatan Ibrahimovic grabbed a perfect hat-trick as LA Galaxy beat league leaders Los Angeles FC 3-2 on Saturday morning.
The former Manchester United had used words which appeared to disrespect the whole of the MLS by suggesting he was a Ferrari surrounded by Fiats. However, the 37-year-old came up against league leaders and he proved he is as good as his word.
Top scorer Carlos Vela scored the opening goal for the visitors in the fourth minute from the spot. Ibra leveled the scores after just four minutes before netting the second in the 56th minute. The Swede then completed his hattrick in the 70th minute with a long-range hit before Vela pulled one back in the stoppage time.
Zlatan has now scored 41 goals in 44 MLS games and 520 career goals across all leagues.
