Shakava casts doubt on his future at Gor

Gor Mahia captain Harun Shakava has cast further doubt on his future at K'Ogalo after he claimed he did not know what would happen with him following the team's elimination from the ongoing CECAFA Kagame Cup by Zambian side Green Eagles.

This comes amid rumors of a move away from the record Kenya Premier League Champions.

"Football is a transition, People come and others go, Maybe it's my time I go but for now we have other young players who have been brought onboard I hope they cope up with the pressure of playing at Gor Mahia. For me I don't know anything can happen maybe, I don't know but I still have a contract with Gor and we preparing for the coming season," Shakava told a press conference after Gor Mahia's elimination from CECAFA Kagame Cup.

"As a team its tough for us because we deserved to go beyond the quarter-finals but in football, anything can happen so it has happened its tough for us so we going to continue with our preseason and prepare for our upcoming games," he added.

Shakava is among a number of key Gor Mahia players linked with moves away from the club. Striker Jacques Tuyisenge and winger Francis Kahata have since joined Petro de Luanda and Simba SC respectively.
