Manchester United have been advised to let go of 'sulking' Paul Pogba and Alexis Sanchez before the start of next season.
According to former star Paul Parker, the two players have the wrong attitude that can be detrimental to the squad and should be let go.
Pogba has been linked with a move to Real Madrid and former club Juventus, having made it clear that he was willing to have a new challenge after three years at United.
“You have to let Pogba and Sanchez go. Pogba’s a definite one. He wants to go – that’s been stated, but the only thing he’s not done is go on strike. You don’t know whether it’s struck him to do that," he said as quoted by Eurosport.
“When people are watching him week-in-week-out they see what I see. You see him sulking," he added.
The Frenchman had an indifferent campaign last season, shining at one point after the departure of Jose Mourinho, but his form dipped as he grew disillusioned towards the end of the campaign.
Parker took a dig at Sanchez as well, labeling him a 'massive mistake' after a disappointing 18 months at the club.
“Sanchez was another massive mistake. It was a ridiculous signing and it was always going to go wrong. He wasn’t needed," he went on.
Sanchez has also been linked with a move away from the club, but his huge wages are said to be a stumbling block for any deal to be concluded.
