Bayern Munich forward, Robert Lewandowski has become the lastest player to weigh in on Leroy Sane's transfer links to the German giants.
Club captain Manuel Neuer has already joined the likes of Leon Goretzka, Joshua Kimmich, and Niklas Sule in publicly trying to persuade Sane to join Bayern, while club president Uli Hoeness has also expressed the club's interest. Sane has enjoyed a fine season at Manchester City but failed to feature in key games towards the end of the season after a reported burst up with Pep Guardiola.
Lewandowski revealed that most of Sane's compatriots are eager for his signing, "Bayern's German players are now very much looking forward to Sane's signing, but we have to wait and see what is going on."
The Polish international is also looking forward to Bayern signing Frank Ribery and Arjen Robben replacements, "They are legends, of course their departure is sad. But Bayern will also sign more and better replacements. I believe that the winger Bayern will sign in the future will be as good as Robben and Ribery.
"In order to have a good performance next season and to overcome Dortmund, I hope that Bayern can do something in the transfer market this summer."
